World champion Chase Ealey wins shot put in the heart of Brussels
The Allianz Memorial Van Damme has continued its fine yearly tradition of organising urban events, with one official Wanda Diamond League discipline being held at a unique location in the centre of Brussels. On Thursday night the world's best shot putters gathered at the Place de la Monnaie, with Chase Ealey claiming the win.

Bubka, Powell and Pérec in Hall of Fame
Sergey Bubka, Asafa Powell and Marie-José Pérec have been inducted in the Hall of Fame of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. The official induction took place on Wednesday evening at the Memorial’s annual gala dinner at the Brussels City Hall.

The 47th Allianz Memorial Van Damme will be welcoming 13 World Champions who won 14 gold medals in total. 17 silver and 10 bronze medal winners from Budapest complete the impressive line up in Brussels. More than 110 World Championships finalists will be participate in the Brussels Diamond League meeting.

Knighton and Hudson-Smith favourites in the 200m and 400m
Five World Championships Finalists from the Men’s 200m and three finalists from the Men’s 400m will be on the track on Sep., 8th for the 47th Allianz Memorial Van Damme. Silver Medalists Erriyon Knighton in the 200m and Matthew Hudson-Smith in the 400m are the favourites.
