The 2027 Wanda Diamond League gets underway in Doha on 7 May. The Allianz Memorial Van Damme on 20 August is the 14th and final qualifying meeting for the grand finale.
The Wanda Diamond League has been in existence since 2010 and brings together the world’s biggest athletics meetings. Between 7 May and 20 August, athletes can score points at 14 meetings worldwide to qualify for the Wanda Diamond League Final on 25 and 26 August in Zurich.
Each discipline – 16 for men and the same number for women – is held at least four and at most nine times across the various qualifying meetings.
After the final qualifying meeting, the standings will be finalised. The six highest-scoring athletes in the field events, the top eight in the track events from 100 to 800 metres, and the top ten in the longer running events will qualify directly for the final.
