ENGIE Kids Athletics: Committing to more accessible and inclusive sports
Every year, ENGIE organises ENGIE Kids Athletics in the run-up to the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. On Sunday 17 August, the King Baudouin Stadium once again exuded an atmosphere of inclusion, sport and conviviality.

The 49th edition of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme will welcome eight reigning Olympic Champions on Friday, two world record attempts have been announced, plenty of Belgian records are in the balance and the women’s 100 metres line-up looks nothing short of phenomenal. “I am very proud of what we are presenting”, says Meeting Director Kim Gevaert looking ahead to the meeting at the King Baudouin Stadium four days before the event.

The women’s 100m is set to be the highlight of the 49th edition of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, taking place next Friday, August 22, in Brussels. The star-studded line-up has now been further strengthened by the addition of Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
