Sprint Sensation Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is coming to the Allianz Memorial Van Damme
On Friday 22 August 2025, the Allianz Memorial Van Damme will welcome one of the fastest women in the world. American Melissa Jefferson-Wooden will make her appearance at the King Baudouin Stadium, where she will once again show off her lightning-fast legs on European soil.
Turbo Sprint at Allianz Memorial Van Damme
Turbo is back, but without the mud this time: on Friday 22 August, Average Rob is organising the very first 100m Turbo Sprint during the Allianz Memorial Van Damme at the King Baudouin Stadium.

World Record Attempt and Five Olympic Champions already confirmed for 49th Allianz Memorial Van Damme
In addition to Nafi Thiam, at least another four Olympic Champions will be attending the Allianz Memorial Van Damme on 22 August: Hamish Kerr, Yemise Ogunleye, Thea Lafond and Rojé Stona have all confirmed their attendance. Meanwhile, Kenya’s Agnes Jebet Ngetich is planning to attack the 5000 metres world record.

At 100 days before the 49th edition of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme on Friday August, 22nd, the first big names in international athletics are announced to compete in Brussels. Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Gianmarco Tamberi are confirmed to show up in the King Baudouinstadium.
Thiam and Vidts in the Long Jump, two experimental events on the program
Apart from the 14 WDL-events the Allianz Memorial Van Damme will add some more, very attractive events to its program. Nafi Thiam and Noor Vidts will appear in a Long Jump competition on August, 22nd. And 2 new, experimental events are added to the program.
