Memorial Run
Two weeks before the Memorial, we are organising a warm-up run on Ivo’s training route on the outskirts of Leuven, in collaboration with Sport Vlaanderen. This is aimed at involving those who will run with us in our celebrations.
Memorial/Ivo Stamp
The anniversary edition of the Memorial is a fitting occasion for bpost to issue a special Memorial and Ivo Van Damme stamp. To be released and available for purchase from 31 August.

A look back at the rich history of the meeting and the figure of Ivo Van Damme, featuring a wealth of photographic material. To be published in the run-up to the 50th edition.
Memorial Expo
A visual journey through time, highlighting the key moments of the meeting and Ivo Van Damme’s career, displaying never-before-seen personal items belonging to Ivo. Taking place in August in the centre of Brussels.

A four-part TV documentary showcasing the absolute highlights of the Memorial and featuring interviews with the world-class stars who have competed at the meeting. Further details to follow.
A special treat for loyal staff
In recent years, the winners of each discipline at the Memorial have received a unique bronze statuette as a trophy. This year, 50 extra statuettes will be made for staff who have played a significant role in the history of the Memorial.
