100 metres to feature reigning European Sprint Champion Marcell Jacobs!

After sprint sensation Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, the Allianz Memorial Van Damme is proud to announce another big name in sprinting. Reigning European Champion Marcell Jacobs will be at the start of the 100 metres on 22 August!

Jacobs raced to win the European title in the 100 metres in Rome in his home country last year. At the Paris Olympics, he finished fifth in 9.85. His PB dates from 2021, when he became Olympic Champion in Tokyo in 9.80. That time is still the Italian and European record today.
