Richardson and Coleman both coming to Brussels!

After rising star Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and European and former Olympic Champion Marcell Jacobs, the Allianz Memorial Van Damme is delighted to announce the attendance of another two top sprinters: World Champion Sha'Carri Richardson and former World Champion Christian Coleman.

Sha’Carri Richardson is the reigning World Champion in the 100 metres. Like Jefferson-Wooden, she has a personal best of 10.65 to her name. At the Paris Games, Richardson won silver in the 100 metres and, like Jefferson-Wooden, was part of the American gold medal-winning relay team.

Christian Coleman will compete in the 200 metres in Brussels. The 29-year-old American is a two-time indoor World Champion (60 metres) and holds the world record for that distance. In 2019, he was crowned World Champion in the 100 metres (outdoor). He has also been World Champion twice in the 4×100 metres with Team USA.
