AG Insurance Memorial Van Damme: a new partner and a new logo

“We are very happy that AG Insurance is our new title partner”, says Bob Verbeeck, Chief Executive Officer of the Brussels Memorial. “With this agreement we again have a Belgian company as our title partner. On top of that it is a partner who is fully committed to sports, to health and to physical activity. That is more than the biggest sporting event of our country could wish for.”

Antonio Cano, ceo AG Insurance : “We are particularly proud that this partnership will contribute to the development of such a prestigious event as the Memorial Van Damme. The Memorial is a unique sporting event in Belgium that has a worldwide exposure and that is arguably the best one day athletics event in the world. But also, it is a celebration of sports that has an informal and cosy character and a strong family feel. It also stimulates people to go sporting themselves.”

“That perfectly fits in our sponsoring strategy to support projects and events that consistently promote active sporting. As an insurance company AG Insurance is particularly committed to the health and the well-being of its customers and of his staff. We are convinced that a landmark event such as the Memorial Van Damme perfectly fits with that commitment,” concluded Cano.

Pole Vault World Record holder Lavillenie has signed up

Renaud Lavillenie is the first big star of international athletics that has been announced to participate at the 38th AG Insurance Memorial Van Damme on Friday, Sep.5th in the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels.
