Femke Bol didn’t disappojnt in Budapest in her role as the event favourite in the 400m Hurdles. The Dutchwoman stormed to the gold medal in blistering 51”70, more than a second ahead of Silver medalist Shamier Little from the USA (52”80). Jamaican Clayton Russell was only one hundredth of a second slower than Little and took the bronze.
