At the World Championships in Oregon Shericka Jackson set a Personal Best of 10”73 to catch the silver, just 6 hundredts shy of gold medal winner Fraser-Pryce. In the 200m Jackson was a dominant winner of the gold, in the second fastest time in history ! The Jamaican shaved two hundredts of a second off her 100m PB in the Diamond League meeting in Monaco recently to confirm that she is still on top of her game.
But the 100m battle is not just between Fraser-Pryce and Jackson. With Asher-Smith, Ta Lou, Seyni and Richardson in the other lanes this event can hardly be stronger. The meeting record of 10”72, set in 2013 by … Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is up for grabs.
