After months of struggling against injuries Bolingo is back at her best level. She finished in 7th in the 400m at the European Championships in Munich and she is set to compete at her favourite distance on Sep., 2nd as well. Bolingo will be challenged by the likes of Mary Moraa, the World Bronze Medal winner in the 800m and Lieke Klaver who finished 4th at the WC 400m.
Since more than one year Cynthia Bolingo is the Ambassador of Bolingo Embracing Diversity, a movement launched by Golazo that promotes diversity in and outside sports. The Allianz Memorial Van Damme is a very appropriate event to put that theme in the spotlights. The seminar “From diversity to inclusion in sports” will evaluate the record of diversity and inclusion in Belgian sports. Different speakers from the sports, like Kim Gevaert, Isaac Kimeli, Carole Bam, Lola Mansour, Cynthia Bolingo herself and also expert Hanan Challouki will share their views on diversity and inclusion in (high level) sports.
The seminar takes place on Wednesday Aug., 31st at 3 p.m. in the press room of the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Rue Gineste in Brussels. People from the worlds of sports, business and politics will lso participate. The press will be invited.
