The program of the 47th Allianz Memorial Van Damme on Friday, Sep.,8th contains 15 Diamond League events. In the Men’s events the Pole Vault, the 400m, the 800m and the 1500m were already part of the program. The 100m has been changed by the 200, while the Triple Jump and the 110m Hurdles have dropped out.
In the Women’s events the 100m and the Triple Jump have been added to the program. The High Jump, the Javelin Throw, the Shot Put, the 200m, the 400m, the 1500m, the 5000m and the 400m Hurdles remain in the program of Sep.,8th.
These changes in the program of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme are the result of the modified calendar of the Diamond League meetings that are taking place in China. The DL-meeting of Shanghai has been cancelled due to renovation works in the stadium. The DL-meeting of Shenzen moves from Aug.,3rd to Sep.,2nd, a few days ahead of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme.
