Starting from today, the epicentre of sports lies in Tokyo for the next two weeks. The organisers of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme wish all athletes in all different sports the very best on this highest stage where they can make their dreams come true.
Many athletics stars and medal winners will come to the King Baudouin Stadium a few weeks later. But, as the tradition is continuing to build, the entire Belgian Olympic Team and their medal winners will also be on the infield and receive their well deserved honours and cheers.
The Belgian Olympic Team will make a lap of honour when the meeting program has closed, while Regi and Mademoiselle Luna play the official Team Belgium anthem. Regi will then continue for some 15 more minutes with his exciting DJ-set on which the athletes and the crowd will find it hard to resist moving and dancing.
