The Allianz Memorial Van Damme is the 14th and second to last meeting of the Wanda Diamond League in 2023. All meetings stage at least 14 Diamond events, Brussels is allowed to organise 15 DL-events. The Men’s Diamond events are the 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 110m Hurdles, Pole Vault and Triple Jump. The Women’s Diamond events will be the 200m, 400m, 1500m, 3000m/5000m, 400m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put and Javelin Throw.
The athletes not only battle for prestigious wins in Brussels on September, 8th, but they can also earn points to qualify for the great Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene (USA) on September, 16th and 17th. It was already announced in May that the Wanda Diamond League Finals in 2024 and in 2026 will take place in Brussels.
