The Allianz Memorial Van Damme is the 13th of 14 meetings in the Wanda Diamond League 2023, the circuit of the World best athletics meetings. The athletes not only compete for the honors in Brussels but they also earn points to qualify for the Final of the Wanda Diamond League on Sep. 16th and 17th in Eugene (USA).
At the 47th Allianz Memorial Van Damme these 15 DL-events will be staged :
Women:
• 100 meter
• 200 meter
• 400 meter
• 1500 meter
• 5000 meter
• 400 meter Hurdles
• High Jump
• Triple Jump
• Shot Put
• Javelin Throw
Men :
• 200 meter
• 400 meter
• 800 meter
• 1500 meter
• Pole Vault
Additional events in the meeting program include the Men’s 10000m with Bashir Abdi chasing the European Record. The Men’s 10000m will be the opening event of the 47th Allianz Memorial Van Damme.
