Covid Safe Ticket
Important: Covid Safe Ticket
Obviously, we want your evening to run smoothly and safely. That is why the organisation of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme follows the current Covid regulations and we have introduced the so-called “Covid Safe Ticket”, which is compulsory for events of more than 5,000 people. This means that you will not have to wear a face mask and will not have to maintain a 1.5 metre distance.
Which conditions do you have to meet?
You will have to meet one of the following conditions:
- Hold a vaccination certificate that proves that you were already fully vaccinated two weeks before the event.
- Hold a certificate of recovery (no older than 6 months) that proves that you have recovered from Covid-19.
- Hold proof of a negative PCR test, taken at the earliest on Wednesday 1 September. Validity = day of test + 2 days. This means: if you take a test on Wednesday, this test will be valid to enter the stadium on Friday during the entire evening.
- Hold proof of a negative antigen test, taken at the earliest on Thursday 2 September. Validity = day of test + 1 day. This means: if you take a test on Thursday, this test will be valid to enter the stadium on Friday during the entire evening. Important: the antigen test has to be administered by medically qualified staff (not a self-test!).
Where can I find my Covid Safe Ticket?
Your Covid Safe Ticket is the same as your Digital Covid Certificate: a valid QR code in the CovidSafeBE app (for those living in Belgium; if you come from another European country it is a valid QR code in your local CoronaCheck app). You might already have a QR code and app from a trip abroad. You could potentially also show your certificate of recovery or proof of a negative test result using that code and app. Please note: your ID will be checked at the same time as your QR code, so make sure that you are also carrying your ID card.
How will it operate in practice?
Everybody’s Digital Covid Certificate and ID card will be scanned at the entrance of the stadium. For Belgium, that is a valid QR code in the CovidSafeBE app, if you are from another European country it is a valid QR code in your local CoronaCheck app.
Those who are Covid Safe can enter the stadium.
IMPORTANT: You will have to install the CovidSafeBE app or another “European Digital Covid Certificate” on your smartphone BEFOREHAND. Print screens are not permitted. Without a valid digital QR code and your ID we cannot check your Covid status and you will therefore not be able to enter the stadium. Also make sure to bring your ID card.
You can download the CovidSafeBE app for free from the App Store (iOS) or from the Google Play Store (Android).
What happens if I am refused access?
If a red light appears when checking the QR code in your Covid app, you will be barred from entering the stadium.
In that case you will not be entitled to a refund of your ticket. Therefore, it is your own responsibility to comply with the conditions of the Covid Safe Ticket.
